TAMRON Photo Competition T&Cs

*By submitting an image to the TAMRON Summer Photo Competition 2025, entrants are considered to have accepted the Terms & Conditions as below.

This is an open-category competition. Editing and post-processing is allowed, but AI-generative customisation is prohibited. During the judging process, RAW files will be requested and heavy editing will be considered during judging.

The TAMRON Summer Photo Competition 2025 is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 and older, or under 18 with the permission of a parent/guardian. The contest is open to amateur and professional photographers.

Entries are open from 00.01am on 1st February until 23.59pm on 31st March 2025.

All photos entered in the competition must be taken between 1st February and 31st March 2025 within New Zealand. Metadata and proof of date/location will be requested during the judging process for verification purposes.

All submitted images must be the work solely of the entrant and not contain third party material. Any images that are suspected to contain the work of third parties may be disqualified from the contest.​

The entrant must have the relevant consent from any individuals featured in any photograph submitted. For images that feature an individual under the age of 18, it is assumed that the parent/guardian of that individual has given the relevant consent.

The entrant maintains full copyright to their submitted images. Submission must not display any trademarks or obscene, offensive, dangerous or unlawful behaviour.

Maximum 3 entries per person.​

Anyone professionally affiliated with TAMRON New Zealand or supporting partners is void from entering the contest.

The winning image will be judged by TAMRON New Zealand and announced via @tamronnz Facebook and Instagram pages w/c 31st March 2025.

The winner will also be contacted via email.

Winning prize: 1 x Tamron lens of the winner's choice. Lens must be a currently stocked item by Tamron New Zealand. 1 x A3 print of their entered image, provided by EPSON New Zealand. Exclusive access to New Zealand Photography Workshops' online 'Essential Landscape Photography' course, worth $350.
